Looking for sponsors

Posted on: at 1810 - Comment

Helsinki Twestival wants you! We’re looking for sponsors to help to raise money for Concern Worldwide.

The goal of Twestival 2010 is to raise awareness of the importance of education. For many of us, education is something we take for granted. Unfortunately there are still tens of millions of children, who have no access to education. We want to help them to have a better start in life via Concern Worldwide’s education campaigns such as Education For Girls and Teacher Training programs. If these are close to your heart, please get in touch!

You can either choose one of our sponsorship packages or donate money directly via PayPal just by clicking the icon on top right hand corner of this page. All the money will go to Concern in full, no admin or credit card charges will be deducted.

Suntrica Ltd is the leader in flexible and high-efficiency portable solar chargers. Suntrica’s ergonomic and lightweight products provide the most convenient mobile charging experience.

Education For Girls & Teacher Training

72 million children in the world do not go to school and Twestival 2010 aims to support Concern Worldwide’s global education programs through fundraising and awareness efforts.

Each city and school hosting a Twestival are given the opportunity to select an area of education to support, and we chose to support Concern’s Education for Girls and Teacher Training campaigns. If these areas are close to your heart, do join us for Helsinki Twestival at Nude Lounge & Club on Thursday 25th March from 8pm.

Helsinki Twestival will be held once again at Nude Lounge & Club on Thursday 25th March. Nude has kindly offered their premises for free for us and we will be at their upstairs bar from 8pm to 2am. Tickets for the Helsinki Twestival are €5 and 100% of all ticket sales will go to Concern Worldwide, no credit card charges or admin fees will be deducted.  We are still working on the program for the evening but we are hoping to offer you an entertaining evening with a good cause. More information will be shared soon!

Our first sponsor is Fjord Helsinki and they will be designing the new logo for this year’s Helsinki Twestival. Fjord is a digital design agency with offices in London, Berlin, Helsinki, Madrid and New York. They work with global brands like Telefonica, Yahoo!, BBC and Nokia.

Thanks everyone!

Have you seen our promotional posters on those digital screens across downtown? Thanks to Clear Channel, who provided 57 of their screens to promote Twestival Helsinki. To support this action we need volunteers who can help us to deliver flyers.
